TAW® suitcase load banks are a convenient and simple way to increase any generator dealer’s service department efficiency.  No longer is it necessary to have several technicians or large trucks and trailers to perform on site load bank testing.  TAW®’s suitcase load bank is light weight (less than 75 pounds) and very portable featuring a military grade Hardigg® case with handle and wheels.  With TAW®’s suitcase load bank it is now very simple for one technician to load test generators without help.  The load banks are rated for 100kW at 480V and 80kW at 208V – 60 hertz and feature five load steps.  Data is displayed on a digital meter and is captured via PC or handheld on the optional communication package.   The suitcase load bank includes the necessary pig tail power cords for connection to the load.  The entire load bank fits into a 27’ x 27’ x 12” (L x W X H) padded Hardigg® case – the same case used by the US Department of Defense for rugged military storage and container applications.
