standard product and made it even better – Metal Enclosed Interrupter
Switchgear. The TAW® load interrupter switch has been redesigned to be
delivered faster and at a lower cost – yet still offer users the legendary
rugged durability and safety they have come to expect from TAW®. The TAW® load
interrupter switch is available in 5, 15, 27 & 38kV configurations. The TAW®
medium voltage switch features a patent pending high wind vent system and
modular design. The modular designed load interrupter switch is available as
close coupled; stand alone or duplex switching. The standard design offers
customer flexibility with 44, 60 & 75 inch depths. The TAW® load interrupter is
available in indoor or outdoor – walk in or around designs. The TAW® switch is
built in accordance with ANSI/IEEE Metal Enclosed Interrupter Switchgear.

Often referred to as E-Houses or Electrical
Equipment Houses, TAW® Custom Electrical Equipment Houses or Power
Equipment Centers are the industry standard for quality and durability.
Climate controlled TAW® E-houses or Power Equipment Centers feature panels
individually formed from either galvanized steel, marine grade aluminum or
stainless steel. Each panel is individually powder coated and baked in a high
temperature oven to ensure years of durability for the finish even in the
harshest of environments. TAW® E-houses are also available with wind load
ratings which can be certified by a registered engineer to withstand wind loads
up to 150MPH. TAW® E-houses are an effective way for municipalities, utilities
or contractors to reduce installation costs. TAW® Power Equipment Centers can
be configured for many applications including housing medium and low voltage
switchgear, motor control centers, UPS, controls, DCS cabinets, VFD’s or any
other electrical equipment that could benefit from the neat and durable outdoor
TAW® packaging. TAW® E-houses are available with many custom options including
HVAC, fire suppression, lighting and plumbing options including bathrooms and
sinks. TAW® Power Equipment Centers meet all NEC and building codes and are
available with UL mark. TAW® climate controlled E-houses are completely factory
assembled and pre-wired so that installation is as simple as dropping to a
concrete pad with electrical conduit stub ups for very quick connection.
